5" seamless gutters are considered standard and are sufficient for the needs of most residential homes. 6" seamless gutters are the best solution for homes that experience large volumes of water, large office buildings, and commercial buildings because they can manage approximately 40% more volume than a 5" seamless gutter system. We also use 3x4" oversized downspouts on a 6" seamless gutter installation, allowing more water and debris to flow through the gutter system. By installing either 5" or 6" seamless gutters, water is diverted from your roof line to areas of your home where it will not cause damage to your property.
The “K” shape of the front of the gutter is an effective design for managing large amounts of water without overflowing and gives the gutter added strength. K-Style seamless gutters are most commonly used on residential homes and commercial buildings.
Half round seamless gutters are most commonly found on older homes constructed of stone or brick with slate, cedar shake or Spanish tiled roofs.
